Value Meetings Spotlight: Dr. Cooper

Tennessee Ambassador Chris Cooper, OD, currently leads the Ambassadors in Value Meetings, with 21 in the books!  

Key Highlights:  

• Advocacy & Professional Influence — Dr. Cooper has represented VSP Vision in legislative discussions and highlights programs such as PECAA and Essential Medical Eye Care and Coordination of Benefits workshops, extending his influence to peers, AOA members, and U.S. Congress. 
• Practice Leadership — As owner of West Tennessee Eye, Dr. Cooper provides comprehensive medical and vision care with specialties in dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and specialty contact lenses. 
• Regulatory Service — Appointed to a 7‑year term on the Tennessee Health Regulator Board, Dr. Cooper is one of five optometrists responsible for interpreting and enforcing laws that protect patient welfare and oversee doctor licensure.
