Ambassadors Engaged with Students at SOLN

VSP was a top sponsor of the 2025 Student Optometric Leadership Network (SOLN) Student Private Practice Leadership Conference held in Houston, TX.

SOLN is a non-profit organization that provides national unification and recognition of student optometric private practice and practice management organizations. This annual conference gathers optometry students, practicing optometrists, guest speakers, and industry sponsors together in person for three days of learning and connecting focused on private practice optometry.

Arizona Ambassador Jesse Dominguez, OD, MS, Ohio Ambassador Chris Smiley, OD, and Texas Ambassadors Dan Bristol, OD, MBA, and April Oliver OD, supported students throughout the event by participating in the Networking with ODs Reception and the VSP dinner and awards for this year’s VSP Premier Edge Student Business Challenge Scholarship.
