Message from the VSP Vision Ambassador Program Team

Dear Ambassadors,

Thank you for an amazing year! We are so grateful for each of you and all that we have accomplished together in 2025. We would like to take a moment to reflect on and highlight some of the successes we have had this year:

• 501 Value Meetings were completed, reaching 217 State Optometric Association/American Optometric Association (AOA) Board/Society Members, 25 SOA Executive Directors, 16 Optometry School Deans or Assistant Deans, 12 Legislators, and five PECAA Members. 
• 49 Ambassadors participated in and/or attended 52 SOA and local Society events.  
• 32 Ambassadors provided insights to the business either through Advisory Panels or focus groups.  
• 23 Ambassadors participated in the Future Leaders Academy Mentorship Program, mentoring 30 young ODs. 
• 21 Ambassadors participated in the Advisory Council sessions.  
• 10 Ambassadors participated in nine Schools of Optometry events where they engaged with students in a variety of ways, including career fairs, doctor panels, networking dinners, etc.  
• Seven Ambassadors delivered 49 Essential Medical Eye Care and Coordination of Benefits Trainings at various industry events, Premier Edge & PECAA Regional Events, and doctor dinners, as well as several virtual presentations to doctor alliance groups and state optometric association leadership. 
• Five Ambassadors participated in 18 Vision Care client engagements, helping win/retain clients:  
  • Nine finalist meetings   
  • Four partnership review meetings 
  • Four wellness presentations 
  • One podcast 
• Expanded the Ambassador field strategy in 16 markets, totaling 26 active markets: 
  • Ambassadors shared content with 9,000+ network ODs. 
  • Select Ambassadors visited local practices to introduce themselves as the VSP Ambassador and collaborated with GBDMs as an extension of the field team. 

As we look towards 2026, we are excited to expand this list of accomplishments and will lean on each of you. We hope you all take some time to relax and recharge with your loved ones during this holiday season.
