The Value Meetings you’re hosting this year are vital in highlighting the value VSP brings to ODs and the profession—and in helping correct misinformation before it takes root. The Ambassador Team is here to support you by following up where needed and making sure your efforts are recognized. 

New Ambassador Guide and Survey

• Refer to a new Ambassador Guide to help support you in setting up these conversations and access the talking points to help you feel confident leading these important conversations with your peers.
• After your Value Meetings, take two minutes to complete a short survey so we can track your impact and elevate your efforts to VSP leadership. Let’s make every conversation count.

Recent Ambassador Value Meetings 

Thank you to the Ambassadors who have already hosted Value Meetings! Here are some notable outcomes: 

• North Dakota Ambassador Steve Looysen, OD, helped prevent a biased survey from reaching the network and presented to the North Dakota Optometric Association (NDOA) Board about VSP’s unique value to the profession and state compared to other vision companies. As a result, the NDOA voted to continue accepting VSP sponsorship.  
• Kentucky Ambassador Justin Coleman, OD, received thanks from the Kentucky Optometric Association for VSP’s flood relief grant and support of Kentucky doctors.  
• New York Ambassador Richard Malara, OD, presented VSP priorities to 11 State Optometric Association board leaders and local society members.
